FlipProfit ("we", "us", or "our") operates flipprofit.net. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using FlipProfit, you agree to the practices described here.
When you create an account we collect your email address and the password you choose (stored as a secure hash — we never see your plain-text password).
Any inventory items, purchase prices, sale prices, notes, and other data you enter into FlipProfit are stored so we can provide the service to you.
If you connect an eBay or Facebook Marketplace account, we store the OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by those platforms. We use these tokens solely to send automated messages on your behalf when you enable that feature.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your full card number, CVV, or raw payment credentials. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status so we can manage your plan.
We use PostHog to collect anonymized analytics about how features are used (e.g. which tools are clicked, credit consumption patterns). This helps us improve the product. No personally identifiable information is shared with PostHog beyond a pseudonymous user ID.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your inventory data for advertising purposes.
We share data only with the following service providers, and only to the extent necessary:
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (e.g. billing records for up to 7 years as required by tax law).
We use cookies strictly necessary to keep you logged in (managed by Supabase Auth). We use PostHog, which sets a first-party analytics cookie. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. We use row-level security in our database to ensure users can only access their own data. While we take security seriously, no system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password and do not share your account credentials.

FlipProfit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of FlipProfit after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
